Chennai Super Kings were bought at a meager price of ₹689 crores by India Cements group under the leadership of N. Srinivasan. The massive profits have now made Chennai Super Kings the first sports unicorn in India with a market cap of ₹7600 crores.

Mumbai Indians have now become a global brand under the umbrella of MI global teams. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries bought it just for ₹850 crores. The profits are far outweighing such a huge amount.

Gujarat Titans stands as the second most expensive IPL team in history. CVC Capital Partners bid a whopping ₹5600 crores beating the likes of Glazers, Adani Group, etc.
